Navarro's Harborth Sisters Named to Coaches All-State Team

Navarro sophomore Tegan Harborth (#1)

(Austin) — Navarro’s Tatum and Tegan Harborth continue to collect postseason awards for their efforts on the basketball court this past season. The sisters were named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-State Team.

Tatum Harborth lead the Lady Panthers averaging 19.1 points and 3 steals per game. She also had 5.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest. The senior scored her 2000th career point on January 10th against Wimberley.

The younger Harborth tallied 10.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and led the Panthers in assists (3.3) and blocks (0.3). Both sisters were named to the All-District 27-4A First Team earlier this month.

Tatum was also named to the TGCA Academic All state Team. She was joined by fellow Lady Panthers Ryanne Hepp, Karlee Koenig and Laylin Sturm on the academic team.

The Panthers finished the 2022-23 season third in District 27-4A behind state ranked Boerne and Fredericksburg. Navarro was 31-8 overall, and advanced three playoff rounds for the fourth straight year before falling to Fredericksburg 62-41. The Lady Panthers were lead by head coach Darrell Harborth who has been at helm at Navarro for 24 seasons.
