Company announces multi-million dollar investment transformative manufacturing hub in Seguin

(Seguin) — The Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and the City of Seguin are announcing that H-One Co., Ltd. will be expanding its North American subsidiary KTH Texas, Inc., a global leader in high-performance automotive structural components to Seguin. The company has acquired 40 acres of land along F.M. 78, near the northwest corner of IH-10 and Highway 46, where it will construct a 300,000-square- foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

H-One (KTH) has committed to making a minimum capital investment of $100 million dollars in the construction of the plant, as well as the purchase of machinery and equipment that will be used for its manufacturing purposes. The company plans to begin construction before the end of 2026.

The company expects to begin operations in April 2028 and will create a total of 170 high- quality jobs by 2031, offering stable career paths and training in advanced manufacturing technologies.

“This expansion is a cornerstone of our North American growth, and Seguin is the perfect partner for this journey,” said Chris Millice, President of KTH Parts Industries, Inc. “Our 300,000-square-foot facility will not only house world-class technology like our 3,500-ton press lines but will also be a sanctuary for our team members. Our highest priority is to provide a safe, comfortable, and inspiring work environment for the 170 associates who will join us by 2031. Furthermore, we have designed this facility to harmonize with the aesthetic of the new Seguin City Center, ensuring we are a good neighbor and a proud addition to the community’s landscape.”

The manufacturing plant will be equipped with three advanced automated press lines, featuring a massive 3,500-ton lead press. This investment allows for the precision production of ultra-high-strength steel and aluminum components, essential for the next generation of safe, lightweight, and fuel-efficient vehicles.

“We are honored to welcome KTH and H-One into the Seguin community and look forward to a bright and thriving future ahead,” said SEDC Executive Director Alora Wachholz. “This project will bring highly skilled, quality jobs to our region that will both expand economic opportunity for our residents, as well as strengthen Seguin’s position as the premier destination to do business in the Central Texas region. We look forward to building a long- term partnership with this company and supporting their continued success as they grow in Seguin.”

H-One Co., Ltd. is a premier global manufacturer specializing in automotive frame components, focusing on safety and lightweight engineering while KTH Texas, Inc., its North American subsidiary, is a Tier-1 supplier to major automotive OEMs, renowned for precision technology and a people-centric corporate culture.
