(Seguin) — As another memorable Fourth of July weekend comes to a close, we want to take a moment to simply say: thank you, Seguin.
This summer has been filled with music, celebration, and community spirit. From the Central Park Summer Concert Series to the Biggest Small-Town Fourth of July Parade and our community’s Independence Day festivities, thousands of residents and visitors came together to enjoy all that makes Seguin special.
The Central Park Summer Concert Series brought families, friends, and neighbors downtown week after week to enjoy live music, great food, and beautiful summer evenings. Thanks to our sponsors, musicians, vendors, nonprofit groups, and attendees, the series once again showcased the vibrant energy of our historic downtown.
The excitement continued with an incredible Fourth of July celebration. From the Fireworks Fiesta and flag-raising ceremony to the Biggest Small-Town Fourth of July Parade and Freedom Fiesta, our community came together to celebrate our nation’s independence in true Seguin fashion.
Events of this scale are only possible because of the many people who willingly give their time, talent, and resources. We are grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, City staff, community organizations, performers, parade participants, judges, announcers, property owners, and countless others who worked behind the scenes to make these events successful. Your contributions helped create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
We offer a special thank you to the city departments that help bring these events to life. From planning and logistics to public safety, setup, and cleanup, their dedication ensures our celebrations are safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
Perhaps most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended. Whether you came downtown for a concert, lined the parade route with your family, enjoyed the fireworks, or supported a local business during the festivities, you helped create the atmosphere that makes Seguin unique. Your community pride is what turns these events into traditions worth celebrating.
