(Floresville) — Four Marion Bulldogs will participate in the South Texas Coaches Association all-star games in football, volleyball and basketball at Floresville High School on Saturday.

Marion boys basketball standout Jaiden Riley will play in the all-star basketball game, scheduled for noon. Riley earned First Team All-District 27-3A honors this past season, averaging nearly 12 points and seven rebounds per game. A multi-sport standout, Riley was also named the District 13-3A Offensive MVP on the football field as a wide receiver. He announced in March that he will play college football at Texas Lutheran University and is scheduled to sign with the Bulldogs on Monday.

Offensive lineman Banji Ajasin and running back Tanner Otis will represent Marion in the all-star football game. Both were first-team all-district selections this past fall. Ajasin is also set to sign a football commitment with Charleston University on Monday. The STCA All-Star football game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Eschenburg Field.

Madi Love will compete in the all-star volleyball game. The senior middle blocker led the Lady Bulldogs to an undefeated district season last fall and capped her career with the District 27-3A Most Valuable Player award. The STCA All-Star volleyball game is set for 10 a.m. Saturday in the Floresville High School gymnasium.
