(Seguin) — Wet weather is creating slick roads and flood concerns across South Central Texas this morning, as the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory until 10 a.m. for Guadalupe County and surrounding areas. Heavy rain has already dropped 1 to 3 inches in some spots, with up to 2 more inches possible.
The Seguin and Navarro school districts are both open for business, with regular class schedules today. The Marion and Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City school districts are both closed today, due to weather concerns.
Drivers are urged to use extra caution, especially in low-water crossings and flood-prone areas. The National Weather Service reminds motorists: Turn around, don’t drown.
