UPDATE: Due to rain, tonight’s Navarro Panther baseball game has been moved to La Vernia.
(Geronimo) — Tonight’s Navarro Panther baseball game with the La Vernia Bears has been moved to La Vernia due to rain today.
The Panthers are coming off a two-game series split with Cuero and are tied with the Gobblers for second place in District 28-4A with a 3-1 district record. The La Vernia Bears are currently in first place in the district at 4-0.
Tonight’s game will now take place at La Vernia High School. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday’s scheduled game between the schools will now be held at Navarro High School. That game will be the first at the new school and we will have the game on AM 1580 KWED and streaming at SeguinToday.com.
(Gonzales) — The Navarro Lady Panther softball team is on the road tonight in Gonzales.
The Lady Panthers currently sit fourth in District 28-4A with a 2-4 district mark. There are four games left in the district softball season. Tonight’s game between Gonzales and Navarro takes place at 6 p.m. at Gonzales High School.
(San Antonio) — The Seguin Lady Matador softball team will look to stay unbeaten in District 27-5A when they play at San Antonio Brackenridge tonight.
Seguin is 8-0 in district play. The Lady Mats run-ruled Brackenridge 17-2 last month at home in the first round of the district season. Tonight’s game between Brackenridge and Seguin gets underway at 7 p.m. at San Antonio Brackenridge High School.
(San Antonio) — The Seguin baseball team is 7-0 in district and is playing at Brackenridge this afternoon.
The Matadors are looking for their 20th overall win of the season. First pitch between the Eagles and Mats takes place at 4:30 p.m. today at Brackenridge High School.
(Universal City) — The Marion Bulldogs are on the road at Randolph this afternoon.
Marion and Jourdanton are currently tied for first place in District 27-3A with 5-0 records. The Bulldogs and Indians will meet in the last district series of the season later this month.
Randolph and Marion meet today at 4 o’clock at Randolph High School.
