Pedro R. Villarreal, age 84 of Seguin, passed away on February 20, 2026. Pedro was born on September 4, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas, to Rosa (Garcia) and Jesus Villarreal.
Pedro proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Up until retirement he worked as an aircraft mechanic at Kelly Field in San Antonio. As a golfer he enjoyed being a member of the Pan American Golf Association. Other hobbies included gardening, fishing, and working puzzles. Favorite times included trips to Las Vegas.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Soila Lopez Villarreal; siblings, Louis Villarreal and wife Linda, Rudy Villarreal and wife Lisa, Arthur Villarreal, and Marta Villarreal; sisters-in-law, Dora Gutierrez and husband Jimmy, Niki Spicer and husband Terry, and Kathy Vega and husband Joe; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (meet at church). Interment with military honors will follow in Santo Tomas Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Easy, San Juan Arias, Daniel Vega, Jacob Arias, Robert Salinas, Xavier Arias, Jimmy Gutierrez, Jr., and Gregorio Gutierrez.
