(San Antonio) — The Seguin Lady Matadors know their playoff opponent.
Seguin will face the Southwest Lady Dragons in the Class 5A Division I bi-district round Monday at San Antonio Southwest High School.
The Lady Mats punched their playoff ticket last Friday with a 51-30 victory over San Antonio Edison. Seguin returns to the postseason for the first time since 2022 and the first time under head coach Veronda Kendall. Monday’s bi-district game tips off at 6:30 p.m.
The Lady Mats have a playoff tune-up tonight, traveling to San Antonio to take on Highlands. Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m.

The Navarro girls have already clinched a playoff spot, while the boys can punch their ticket tonight with a win. (Marion) — The Marion boys and girls host Great Hearts Northern Oaks tonight.
The Bulldog boys jumped to No. 13 in the latest Class 3A state coaches poll after knocking off No. 10 San Antonio Cole last week. The Bulldogs are 23-7 overall and tied for first in District 27-3A with a 6-1 district record. The Lady Bulldogs sit in second place at 4-3. The girls-boys doubleheader tips off at 6:15 p.m. at Marion High School.
