(Seguin) — Seguin High School will host a college football signing ceremony for a pair of seniors on Wednesday morning.
Marcus Troy and Zayon Goldsberry will sign their letters of intent at the high school. Troy will continue his academic and athletic career at Schreiner University in Kerrville. Goldsberry will attend McPherson College in Kansas.
A defensive back, Troy recorded 58 tackles and two interceptions for the Matadors during the 2025 season. He earned All-District 13-5A honorable mention honors at cornerback and Academic All-State honorable mention recognition following the season.
Goldsberry, a linebacker, was second on the Matadors this past season with 66 total tackles. He led the team with nine tackles for loss. Goldsberry was named to the all-district second team by the district coaches at the end of the season.
The signing ceremony for Troy and Goldsberry will take place Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. at the Seguin High School Student Activity Center.
