Navarro ISD to Host High School Dedication Ceremony

(Seguin) — Navarro ISD is inviting the entire community to come out tonight and check out the brand new Navarro High School campus. The district is hosting a special dedication ceremony.

Navarro ISD Communications Director Chelsea Ormond says district leaders are eager to showcase the new campus, which officially opened to students last week.

“We are so excited to have our community out for this historic occasion. The new Navarro High School will be dedicated, and we invite all of our community to come out and join us. We’ll have a student-led presentation, special guests and dignitaries, and then refreshments and tours so our community can see all of our amazing spaces,” said Ormond.

The voter-approved project features state-of-the-art facilities and upgraded learning spaces for students at Navarro High School. Ormond says the dedication is exciting for both students and the community, which is why district leaders want all stakeholders to see the new building in person.

“We believe once a Panther, always a Panther, and everyone in our Panther family has been a part of making this happen. We have a wonderful historical legacy that dates back to the 1800s, and we’re very proud of our roots, traditions, and heritage here in Navarro. All of our alumni helped make this very special, along with our current students. We want everyone to know they’re welcome to be a part of it. This is everyone’s school. This is our community’s school, and we want everyone to come out and celebrate with us,” said Ormond.

The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. today, with a student-led ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Guided tours will follow the dedication. District officials encourage residents to take advantage of the opportunity to see the new high school in person and celebrate this milestone for Navarro ISD. The campus is located on State Highway 123 in the city of Seguin.
