(Seguin) — Drivers in Seguin are being urged to expect heavier-than-normal traffic today due to an emergency closure on Interstate 10.
TxDOT crews have shut down the westbound lanes of I-10 at mile marker 608 while contractors replace damaged infrastructure following a crash earlier this week.
Westbound traffic is being diverted onto the frontage road as repairs continue. TxDOT says work is already underway and is expected to be completed by nightfall.
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time and use alternate routes if possible.
