(Seguin) — A 30-year-old man was killed Tuesday after his vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned along Highway 46, according to the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 4100 block of Highway 46 near Elm Grove shortly before 4:30 p.m. for reports of a major vehicle crash. Officials say a 2014 orange Dodge Charger left the roadway, rolled multiple times, and ultimately came to rest in the backyard of a nearby residence.
The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released as authorities work to notify next of kin.
The Texas Department of Public Safety’s Highway Patrol Division is now leading the investigation into what caused the crash. No additional details have been released.
