(Seguin) — Drivers in Seguin should prepare for nightly road closures along SH 123 this week as construction crews continue ongoing bridge work in the area.
According to city officials, State Hight 123 will be fully closed each night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., from now through Saturday, June 21. The closure will take place between the I-10 westbound and eastbound frontage roads.
In addition, the closure will alternate nightly with a full closure of SH 123B in the same area.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, use posted detours, and drive cautiously through the construction zones.
While they apologize for the inconvenience, the city of Seguin and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) also thank motorists for their patience as they work to complete these infrastructure improvements.
