(Geronimo) — Shelbi Stevens, who surpassed her own single season home run record in 2025, led Navarro Lady Panthers recognized by district coaches on the All-District 26-4A team released this week.
Stevens earned a spot on the all-district first team. The junior catcher broke her own Navarro High School single season home run record with 11 homers, which eclipsed the 10 she hit last season as a sophomore. She established the new record with a grand slam against Wimberley on March 15th. Stevens has been a first team selection in all three of her years at Navarro.
Joining Stevens on the all-district team were Madison Gilliam and Sarah Falor. Gilliam made the second team as an outfielder while Falor was a second team infielder.
Three Lady Panthers were selected as honorable mentions. Infielders Jillian Baker and Ally Antista along with outfielder Kennedy Seek were Navarro’s honorable mentions.
Earning recognition for the Lady Panthers on the Academic All-District team were Stevens, Gilliam, Falor, Baker, Seek and Antista along with Holly Benitez, Isabella Hartman, Cadee Zimmer, Caylee Schronk and Jocelynn Diaz.
Navarro finished the season in fifth place in District 26-4A. The Lady Panthers are led by head coach Alma Klatt who completed her second season at the helm of the Navarro softball program.
