Anna Marie Guadarrama, age 53 of Seguin, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. Anna was born on October 18, 1971 in Seguin, Texas to Cesareo Guadarrama III and Gloria Vela.

She is preceded in death by her brother, David Guadarrama and sister, Debra A. Martinez, great-grandparents, Cesareo and Herlinda Guadarrama, grandfather, Cesareo Guadarrama II, grandmother, Benina Herrera, and aunt, Lena Rose Bittner.

She will be deeply missed by her father, Cesareo Guadarrama III and wife Mary Ann; mother, Gloria Vela Trevino-Leroy; grandmother, Elena Bittner, siblings, Cesareo Guadarrama IV, Michael Guadarrama, Angel Guadarrama-Leal, Grace G. Hynninen, Ann Reyes, Rebecca Rodriguez, Joseph Vela, Anthony Trevino, Adam Trevino and Aaron Trevino; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

Anna was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her love for the Dallas Cowboys, ’80s movies and music, and the beautiful beaches of Texas will always be remembered. Anna had a warm and generous spirit, making friends wherever she went and leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She devoted herself to her career in inpatient hospitality, providing compassionate support to mental health patients, and actively participated in numerous volunteer activities. Her volunteerism extended to organizations such as Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society, as well as civic engagement initiatives like assisting residents of Guadalupe County with voter registration. Throughout her life, she was committed to helping others and fostering meaningful connections. Her kindness, steadfast loyalty, and infectious laughter have left a lasting impact and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will begin on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 for the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Joseph Vela, Adam Trevino, Aaron Trevino, Cesareo Guadarrama IV, Michael Guadarrama and Eric Bennett
