Navarro Runnin' Lady Panthers take on Lago Vista in bi-district playoffs tonight on KWED

(Spring Branch) — The Navarro Runnin’ Lady Panthers will play in the UIL Class 4A girls bi-district round tonight on KWED.

Navarro, the fourth-place team from District 26-4A, will face District 25-4A champion Lago Vista. The Lady Panthers will look to give head coach Darrell Harborth one more final playoff run before he retires as the Navarro girls basketball coach at the end of the season. This is Coach Harborth’s 26th and final season as the Lady Panther head coach.

Tonight’s game between Navarro and Lago Vista takes place at Smithson Valley High School. We will have the game on KWED. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Our Lady Panther playoff pregame will start at 6:20 p.m. tonight on AM 1580 and streaming at SeguinToday.com.

(San Antonio) — The Marion Lady Bulldogs are playing in the bi-district round tonight as well.

Marion finished third in District 27-3A. They will play Hondo tonight at San Antonio Southwest High School. Tipoff between the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Owls is set for 6:30 p.m. this evening.

Meanwhile,

(Marion) — The Marion Bulldog boys are officially in the playoffs.

The Bulldogs clinched the fourth and final playoff spot in District 27-3A after Young Men’s Leadership Academy fell to first place San Antonio Cole on Monday night. The boys bi-district playoffs start next week.

(Seguin) — The Seguin Matadors will play in the Class 5A playoffs next week. The Mats close their regular season tonight at home against San Antonio Brackenridge.

Seguin is 11-4 and in third place in District 27-5A. Tonight’s game between the Matadors and Brackenridge Eagles tips at 6:30 p.m. at Goldie Harris Gym.

(Fredericksburg) — The Navarro Panthers are in Fredericksburg tonight with a chance to clinch a spot in the postseason.

The Panthers are in fourth place in District 26-4A, a game ahead of Fredericksburg and Bandera for the district’s final playoff spot. A win for the Panthers over the Billies will secure a playoff berth for Navarro. Tonight’s regular season finale between the Panthers and Billies tips off at 6:30 p.m. at Fredericksburg High School.
