(Marion) — We’ll have Marion girls and boys basketball games on KWED today. The Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs will host San Antonio Cole for a girls/boys doubleheader this afternoon.
The start time has been changed. The girls were scheduled to play first at 6:15 p.m. That start has been moved up to 5 O’clock today.
The Marion girls won their District 27-3A opener over Young Women’s Leadership Academy last Friday at home. The Cole Lady Cougars are 2-0 in district.
The boys game between the Bulldogs and Cougars is the first district game of the season for both teams. Cole is ranked 10th in the latest Class 3A boys state coaches poll.
You’ll hear both games on KWED. Our Bulldog basketball pregame starts at around 4:50 p.m. this afternoon. The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Cougars will tip at 5 p.m. Then we’ll have the Bulldogs and Cougars shortly after the completion of the girls game as we bring you a Marion High School basketball doubleheader today on AM 1580 and streaming at SeguinToday.com.
(San Antonio) — The Seguin Matador boys, 5-2 in District 27-5A, will play San Antonio Brackenridge tonight. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. at San Antonio Highlands High School.
(Seguin) — The Seguin Lady Matadors are hosting the Brackenridge Lady Eagles tonight. That game will take place at the Seguin High School Student Activity Center with tip at 6:30 p.m.
(Geronimo) — The Navarro Panther boys open District 26-4A play tonight as they host Class 4A 18th-ranked Davenport. The game tips at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Navarro High School.
(Comal County) — The Navarro Runnin’ Lady Panthers will take on the 25th-ranked Davenport Lady Wolves this evening.
(Corpus Christi) — And the Lifegate Christian Falcon girls and boys will be down in Corpus Christi this afternoon for a doubleheader against Annapolis Christian Academy. The girls will play first at 5:30 p.m. this afternoon.
