(Guadalupe County) — A 5-year-old girl is dead today following what investigators say was an accidental shooting over the weekend just southwest of Seguin.
Guadalupe County Sheriff’s officials say the incident was reported at noon Sunday in the 2300 block of Leissner School Road.
After being transported by EMS to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, officials say the child succumbed to the injuries.
Following their investigation, officials say it was determined that the shooting was accidental. No charges are pending at this time.
