KWED, Seguin Daily News offers opportunity to recognize those who served
(Seguin) – Today is the last chance to salute and recognize your favorite American Veteran. The veterans will not only be featured in the November edition of the Seguin Today Magazine, but their photos will also run daily in the Seguin Daily News online at SeguinToday.com.
Nick Spence, KWED and Seguin Daily News sales manager says the media group wanted to give the community a free chance to honor these men and women in celebration of Veterans Day on Nov. 11.
“Our free Veterans Salutes give the community a chance to honor and recognize the service of their loved ones who have served in the military. This special feature will allow people to submit a photo, name, and the branch of service of a veteran, and they will be highlighted on our Veteran Salutes page in the November issue of Seguin Today Magazine. It’s a small but heartfelt way to show our appreciation for their sacrifices, both in print and online throughout the month of November,” said Spence.
While they are encouraging as many salutes as possible, Spence is asking that photos and info be submitted today by 5 p.m.
“It’s incredibly easy! All you have to do is simply email us the veteran’s photo, name, and branch of service at kwedveteransalutes@gmail.com. There’s no cost involved, and it only takes a few minutes to submit the information. We’re making it as simple as possible for everyone to participate and honor the veterans in their lives.”
Again, those wishing to submit a free Veterans Day salute are asked to email kwedveteransalutes@gmail.com.
