Seguin boys cross country take Goliad Invitational

(Goliad) — The Seguin Matador boys cross country team took the Goliad Invitational on Saturday.

Seguin sophomore Adrian Rangel won the 5K race with a time of 16:33. Matador senior Prince Medrano finished right behind Rangel in second place with a time of 16:51.

Every Seguin runner placed in the top 20. Other Matador finishers were Noah King, Adrian Aguirre, Ramiro Galvan, Jayson Ledesma, and Hunter Hill.

Seguin will host the Seguin Matador Cross Country Invitational this Saturday at Max Starcke Park.

(Round Rock) — And the Navarro cross country team competed at the Round Rock McNeil Invitational on Saturday.

The Navarro girls finished 19th as a team, led by Lilia Flo who finished 34th in the two-mile race with a time of 12:28.50. Madi Gilliam finished in 43rd place with a time of 12:40.20.

Navarro’s Ethan Luu, competing in the Boys Gold 5K, crossed the line with a time of 18:27.10.

The Panthers will compete at the Sandia Invitational in Luling this Saturday.
