(Seguin) — Don’t miss out on the Seguin Texas High-Rollers Ribeye Cookoff and Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024. Come watch 20 of the top cooks in the world compete for $10,000 in prizes. In addition to the steaks, more fun will be had for the whole family.

At this event, you will be able to view different classic cars and hot rods from Chevy, Ford, Dodge Trucks, 4×4’s, Exotic Imports to Motorcycles. There will also be two T.V. race stars, Mike Murillo and Chris Varni from the show Street Outlaws on the Discovery Channel.

Car enthusiasts who are interested in participating in the car show just need to show up in the morning at 9 a.m. with the show starting at 10:30 a.m. The entrance fee for the car show is $20.

“All proceeds will be going to Buck Fever for a scholarship. We will have some T.V. stars and some professional cooks on site. We will have plenty of vendors, live country music and the best thing! It’s free to the public,” says Philip Elley, event organizer.

This event is sponsored by Koda Power Coating and Texas Original Charcoal.

“We want to see everyone out in Central Park Aug. 31 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.” said Elley.

“Come out, enjoy Central Park, shopping, cars, delicious food, live music, and the amazing aromas.”

Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street and CVB director says they are thrilled to have a new event coming to downtown Seguin.

“When you come down to look at the cars and meet the cooks, we hope you also stroll through downtown and visit our downtown merchants,” said Kramm.
