Wilhelm J. Kalmus, age 86 of Seguin, passed away on November 13, 2018.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Tres
Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6
p.m.
Graveside services and interment with full military honors will be
held at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10:30
a.m. under the auspices of the American Legion H. U. Wood Post 245 of Seguin
and the DAV Doug Herrle Chapter 61 in Seguin. Wilhelm was born on October
5, 1932 in Halletsville Texas to Josef and Annie (Mozisek) Kalmus. Wilhelm
is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Blaise Kalmus and his
sister, Leona Koonce. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Betty
L. Kalmus; son, Michael Kalmus and wife Deborah; step-grandchildren, Richard
and Victoria; brothers, Steve Kalmus and wife Patsy, Benjamin Kalmus, Gus
Kalmus and wife Shirley, and Daniel Kalmus and wife Doris; sister, Anita
Jordan and husband Steve; brother-in-law, Jeffery Koonce; aunt, Lillie
Mozicek; numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and
friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion H. U.
