(Guadalupe County) – The search is now on for the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting death of a San Antonio man.
Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Investigators say at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, sheriff’s deputies arrived in the 5200 block of Mesquite Pass to find the body of a man laying on the side of the road near the tree line.
The man has since been identified as Pedro Ignacio Rodriguez, 28. Autopsy reports indicate Rodriguez suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
The case is currently under investigation by the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
