Special by Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director
(Seguin) — It’s a downtown scavenger hunt during the September Third Thursday on September 21 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Check in at Central Park to get your clue card and then head out to find the answers to the clues.
Over a dozen downtown businesses will be participating in the scavenger hunt with more being open for shopping and dining.
“Come out and explore your downtown, shop with the downtown merchants, and have some family fun during our September Third Thursday,” said Amber Ehrlich, Marketing Chair for the Downtown Business Alliance and owner of Keepers Interiors & Furniture, “The scavenger hunt is something the whole family can participate in completing.”
After you complete your clue card, you can turn it in with the last business you visit or drop it off back at Central Park. Winners will be selected from the completed clue cards for some great prizes.
In addition to the scavenger hunt and shopping, five food trucks will be set up around Central Park while music plays from the bandstand.
“The monthly themed shopping event, Third Thursday, have been a great addition to the downtown calendar,” said Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director, “It gives those who work during the day, a time to shop and explore downtown Seguin.”
After September’s scavenger hunt, the following months will be Fall Fun in October, Shop Small in November, and Last-Minute Holiday Deals in December.
Third Thursday is an event hosted by the Downtown Business Alliance of Seguin, a nonprofit membership organization working to promote shopping, dining, and enjoying downtown Seguin.
