He was born March 12, 1928, in Gulfport, Mississippi to Arthur B. and Ethel Trepagnier, Sr. While stationed at Marine Headquarters in Washington, D.C., he met his wife of 70 years, Joy Frabotta, of Cleveland, Ohio. They soon married in 1948 and traveled the world during Arthur’s 20 year military career. Retiring in San Antonio in 1969 he pursued his bachelor’s degree from Incarnate Word College, while working for the City of San Antonio in Parks and Recreation for the following 20 years. After retirement, he pursued his lifelong love of his family, fishing and his ranch. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, brother and his loving wife, Joy. He is survived by his children Ken Trepagnier (Barbie), Denise Sullivan (Rob), Patty Trepagnier and Debbie Stephens (Jim); grandchildren Sean Sullivan (Stephanie), Danielle Castillo (Eli), Kyle Trepagnier (Lindsey), Nichole Sullivan, and Samantha Stephens, and great grandchild, Pyper Lee Sullivan. Rosary will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Jan. 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, Jan.14 at 1:15 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Arthur’s name to Wreaths Across America and Wounded Warrior, in lieu of flowers.
