Rev. Marvin Carpenter, of Seguin, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the age of 94.
Survivors include his wife, MaryAnn Dillon Carpenter; sons, Marvin Carpenter Jr. and Michael Carpenter; and daughters, Robin Michelle Carpenter, Stacy Lynnette Hall, JoAnn Carpenter and Jennifer Carpenter Wilson.
A wake will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at New St. James Baptist Church. Viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 at New St. James Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 at New St. James Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 2:15 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
