Gilbert “Gil” Sandoval, age 76 of Seguin, passed away on May 12, 2023. Gil was born in Harlingen, Texas on March 24, 1947 to Aurora (Solis) and Juan Sandoval.
Gil is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lydia Avalos.
Survivors include his son, Jeffery Sandoval; sisters, Mary Alvarado, Sara Sandoval and Gloria Martinez; brother-in-law, Antonio “Tony” Avalos; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. The mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Avalos, Edward Flores, Jesse Montanez, Samuel Alvarez, Jr., Tre Gomez, Antonio Alvarez, Jr., Chris Lozano, Jr. and Jimmy Vela.
