(Seguin) — Don’t let the school year pass you by without sharing your feedback on the 2022-2023 school year. That’s the invitation by Seguin ISD officials who say they value your feedback.
Sean Hoffmann, the chief communications officer for the Seguin ISD, says the district is currently surveying Seguin ISD families in order to gain insight into their perception of the school and the district’s effectiveness.
“This survey that the Seguin ISD has shared with its parents as well as with employees is designed to really get some insightful feedback from our school community on the perception of our schools and our effectiveness. We want to ensure that we are improving constantly and with the community’s input, we can get that feedback in order to provide the supportive environments and the high-quality learning experiences that our community deserves,” said Hoffmann.
To administer these surveys, Hoffmann says they have partnered with Panorama Education to conduct the family surveys. District officials say Panorama safeguards personal privacy, keeping all responses confidential.
Hoffmann says the survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete, and again adds that it will serve as a valuable source of information to help improve learning.
“This is an annual survey. This is our second year to do it and it just takes a few minutes to take and we encourage all of our parents and all of our guardians of our students as well as all of our students and employees to take those few minutes, complete the survey so that we can constantly improve as we evaluate those results when they come in this summer,” said Hoffmann.
Hoffmann says the survey has been made readily available and easy to master.
“The deadline for the survey is May 19 and we have shared it with our school families through email as well as on social media. We’ve emailed the survey to our employees and again, we will be putting out reminders to our stakeholders and again encouraging them to take that time and really share with us areas where we can improve and areas where we might be doing a great job,” said Hoffmann.
Individuals and families may complete the survey online using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. The link for the survey is https://surveys.panoramaed.com/seguinisdtx/1864455962/surveys.
The link for the survey can also be found on the district’s website SeguinISD.net or on the district’s Facebook page. Upon clicking, individuals will be asked to choose their child’s school from a list of campuses.
Those having children enrolled in multiple schools in the district will have the option to start a new survey for another school after submitting the survey for their selected campus.
