(Seguin) — Tickets are still available for this year’s Seguin-Guadalupe County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet. This will mark the 34th year for the presentation of the annual awards. The event is scheduled for this Wednesday night at the Seguin-Guadalupe County Coliseum.
Encouraging folks to get their tickets is Gloria Sasser, a member of the chamber’s board of directors. Sasser says the banquet is vital in applauding those who continue to make a difference in the community.
“This is an our annual awards banquet and these are awarded to businesses and individuals who have contributed to the community,” said Sasser.
Sasser says the chamber has again scheduled a full night of food, fun, and music.
“It’s certainly a good place to network with other business people and also a lovely evening. The Seguin Mariachi Matador will be playing and they are always delightful and so they will be performing for us. Food is by Davila’s. So that is always good so I think it’s going to be a really fun and exciting evening and certainly a good time to get out and meet other business people or just meet interesting folks. Come at 6 p.m. That’s our social hour and do some networking,” said Sasser.
Joining the chamber this year in hosting the event will be the TAMACC Education Foundation.
Serving as the guest speaker will be entrepreneur Tatiana Chamorro, owner of Hite Digital, a digital marketing agency.
The event gets underway with a social hour at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Coliseum. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at the Hispanic chamber office or at the door. The chamber office is located at 971 W. Court St. The office can also be reached by calling 830-372-3151.
