(New Braunfels) — The Seguin Matador Track & Field team had four jumpers place at the UIL District 26-5A meet at Canyon High School in New Braunfels on Wednesday.
Arianna Shular finished second in the girls triple jump with jump of 36 feet, six inches. Leah Brown was third with a personal best jump of 36 feet, five inches.
Daisha Shular finished second in the long jump with a personal best jump of 19 feet, three inches. Shular’s jump at the district meet placed her in the top 25 in the country.
In the boys triple jump, Kayden Holz finished third with a jump of 41 feet, one inch.
The Shulars, Brown and Holz all qualified for next week’s Class 5A area meet.
