Lone superintendent finalist excited about pending move to Navarro ISD

(Seguin) — The lone finalist for superintendent of schools in the Navarro ISD is sharing her excitement in being appointed to the position.

After unanimously being selected last week, Mandy Epley shared that excitment in a statement to Seguin Radio KWED and the Seguin Daily News.

“Navarro ISD is a community built on a solid foundation of tradition and pride when it comes to providing engaging educational and extracurricular opportunities for all students. I look forward to meeting the students, staff, and the entire Navarro ISD community and collaborating to begin the work of expanding and enriching student opportunities, managing growth, and supporting all students to grow and reach their full potential. I am excited, and eager to listen, learn, and lead as a part of the Panther Family.”

Epley now endures the 21 day waiting period before she can officially be hired for the job. As soon as those 21 days are up, Epley who currently serves as the assistant superintendent of strategic initiatives and programs in the Comal ISD, hopes to immediately begin the transition of taking over the reins at Navarro.
