Location to remain the same, big pavilion at Max Starcke Park
(Seguin) — After thinking that they might have to change venues for this year’s Seguin Little League fundraiser, all plans are still in place to serve this year’s meal at the big pavilion located on the east side of Max Starcke Park.
All Little League volunteers need now is to have folks show up with their tickets and pick up their to-go plates on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
That’s according to Amanda Peterson, the president of the Seguin Little League Board of Directors.
“We are going to start serving probably about 11 o’clock until about 2 p.m. Just make sure you have your ticket, and we will do like we’ve done in the past where we have the plates in the bag ready to go so you don’t even have to get out of your car. We are going to have a place that people can come and sit down and eat and enjoy the atmosphere,” said Peterson.
Not only does she remind ticketholders that this weekend is the weekend to redeem those tickets but encourages all others to also come out and enjoy the meal while giving back to the local organization.
“We have plenty of plates. We actually always order a little extra because some of us are procrastinators like myself. So, we will have them there. They are $12 a plate and we should have plenty for everybody if you want to come down a plate if you didn’t get a ticket,” said Peterson.
Again, the Seguin Little League BBQ will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the big pavilion located at Max Starcke Park East.
