Sign-up for food distribution now underway
(Seguin) – Families needing some help filling up their cupboards are reminded to sign-up today for this weekend’s Pop-Up Food Distribution Event. This month’s distribution is being hosted by Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.
Families are encouraged to sign-up by the end of day on Friday. This Saturday’s event will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. or while supplies last in the employee parking lot located behind the Teddy Burger Center next to GRMC.
Those needing food assistance are asked to register at freshtrak.com/register/event/85374. Volunteers are also needed to help fill the vehicles of dozens and dozens of residents. Volunteers are asked to arrive that day at 8 a.m. Students needing volunteer hours may also assist. Adults, however, must accompany each minor. Those wishing to volunteer may register at signupgenius.com.
