David Saenz Herrera, of Seguin, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the age of 73. He was born in Seguin, Texas on July 10, 1945, to Valentin & Dolores Herrera. He is preceded by his parents; two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Yari Herrera; sons, Rodolfo Herrera, David S. Herrera Jr., Chris and Carmen Herrera; daughters, Jennifer & Roberto Barrera Jr., RoxAnne Herrera, Krystal Herrera & Robert Hallman; grandchildren, David III, Brandon, Leah, Caitlyn, Cayla, Colt and Matthew; sister, Rosa Ruiz; brothers, Lorenzo and Dora Herrera, Serapio and Alicia Herrera. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with burial following at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
