Softball player participating in 2022 ABSA World United Games
(Austria) — A summer of softball memories are in the making for one Seguin High Matador who is currently playing in the ABSA World United Games 2022 Tour in Europe. Senior Ryan Rangel is currently wrapping up her 11-day summer experience taking the playing fields in the world games and enjoying the sites of Germany, Italy and Austria. Ryan was among 40 players from throughout Texas and the country who were invited for a tryout and then claimed a spot on a two-team roster for ABSA (American Based Sports Abroad). Rangel is competing on the ABSA (Coach Shannon) Gower Team. Gower serves as the head softball coach of Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.
