Single member district boundary community survey DUE TODAY

Single member district boundary community survey DUE TODAY

(Seguin) – Seguin ISD voters have one more day in which to share their input into the proposed school board single member district boundaries.

Due to population increases in Seguin as outlined in 2020 census data, the Seguin ISD is proposing these boundaries based on the most recent census numbers.

District officials want to make clear that any changes to school board boundaries will not have an effect on student enrollment boundaries.

The district is seeking community feedback on the proposed boundary changes. They say these new boundaries were created by a committee of community members who over the last three weeks have met and discussed the proposed boundary changes.

An online survey has been emailed and is being made available online for thoughts and ideas on these proposed boundaries. The survey must be completed by Wednesday.
Upon receiving the results, the committee will review all survey input. Any proposed changes will ultimately have to be approved by the Seguin ISD Board of Trustees. Again, these proposed changes are completely unrelated to and will have no effect on what students attend what school.
