Our Dear Sweet Mama went to be with the Lord April 21. Maxine was 101 years old! Maxine Zipp Kinney was born February 7, 1921 at Ft Scott Kansas to Robert and Maude Einhelling. She was well loved by all, family, and caregivers.
She is survived by her daughter Jacquelyn Zipp & companion Chuck Duke, son Daryl Zipp, wife Toni, daughter Kathleen Zipp Payne, husband Eddie, daughter Annette Zipp.Grandaughter Emily Zipp, great grandchildren Ashtyn and Cole Zipp. Nephew Larry Barber. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, Alton H Zipp & Jack Kinney.
Maxine grew up in Denver, CO. and resided in San Antonio with her family. She met her husband Alton working for the San Antonio Light newspaper. At the Light she was asked to model for various local department stores for layouts. She enjoyed music, playing the organ, painting, knitting and crocheting. Her biggest enjoyment was her children.
