(Alice) – Seguin seniors Nayla Harris and Ashley Lingueno finished first and second in total points earned to help the Seguin girls track and field program win the team championship at the Alice Hub City Relays last week.
Harris was the meet’s high-point athlete with a total of 40 points. She finished first in the 100 meters, the long jump, and the triple jump, and ran on the winning 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams.
Lingueno earned 34 points with with a first-place finish in the 400 meters while taking second in the long jump, third in the high jump, and contributing to win in the 4×100 and 4×200 relays.
