(Seguin) — A paraprofessional staffer at Seguin High School has been arrested for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation and has arrested 27-year old Kimberly Lynn Nelson. Nelson faces charges of sexual assault of a child, improper relationship between educator and student, and tampering or fabricating physical evidence with an intent to impair the investigation.
Nelson allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year old male student. Nelson was placed on administrative leave earlier this week, but she has since resigned from her position as a special education teacher’s aide at SHS.
Nelson remains behind bars in lieu of bonds totaling $175,000.
