Seguin Today magazine accepting nominations for KWED, Seguin Daily News Top Choice Listener Awards
(Seguin) — If you have not yet picked up this month’s two-in-one edition of the Seguin Today Magazine, then you will want to do so as soon as possible. Not only does this month’s publication feature a special pull-out with all the winners of this year’s Guadalupe County Fair but it also offers you the chance to nominate businesses for the first ever Top Choice Listener Awards. Be sure to check out the list of categories and then nominate someone you think is deserving. Ballots are available in the back of this month’s issue which is now available at various locations across town including at radio station KWED located at 609 E. Court St.
KWED General Manager Darren Dunn says this is a fun way for their listeners to recognize those businesses that offer their best services in the Seguin area.
“We all have our favorites. Whether it’s taco place, a doctor’s office, or a gym. We want our listeners to nominate their favorite spots. These businesses and organizations deserve that recognition. We’re looking for businesses around Seguin and Guadalupe County. So have your voices heard, and select the companies that you love best in each category,” said Dunn.
As always, the Seguin Today monthly magazine also brings you another round of stories that better illustrate why Seguin is a great place to call home.
Not only does the November issue offer more details behind the relocation and renaming of the 2nd Story Dance & Co, formerly Suzi Hughson School of Dance, to downtown Seguin but it also brings you the story of one local family and its passion for bow hunting – a sport that continues to draw them closer to one another. Tess Coody-Anders, also returns as she shares some of the continued highlights of doing business in Seguin through her Pecan Town column.
Again, be sure to grab a copy of this month’s Seguin Today magazine. Fill out your nominations for the KWED, Seguin Daily News Top Choice Listener Awards and then mail or drop off your ballot at the radio station. The deadline to submit your nominations is Nov. 30.
