(Seguin) — It’s the return of Trade Days to downtown Seguin. This
Saturday, over 60 vendors will be setting up shop throughout Central
Park.
Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street and CVB director, says the event is set to feature a variety of items.
“They are going to be selling all sorts of goods. We’ve got several
jewelry vendors, home goods, yard decor and we have the Master
Gardeners and Native Plant Society. They will both be out there as
well selling plants so definitely if you are working on your garden,
they’ll have plants for you to get that going,” said Kramm.
Kramm says the list of 60 vendors is actually only about half of the
number of vendors who normally participate in the event. Kramm says not only will the reduction in vendors allow for additional spacing between one another but it will also help continue the promotion of safety throughout the event.
“In addition to the reduction in the number of vendors, other safety
precautions include hand sanitizer stations placed throughout the
area, all vendors and guests will need to wear masks, all food will
need to be consumed while stationary in the dining area with one
family unit per picnic table, increased sanitation of common spaces
and one customer inside each vendor space,” said Kramm.
Every spring, the Seguin Main Street Program hosts its Spring Trade
Days in conjunction with Seguin’s Earth Day Festival. Due to COVID-19, the Seguin Earth Day Festival will not be occurring.
Trade days will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in downtown Seguin. The event is free.
