Seguin – Shaylin Franklin qualified for the Division I state meet in the 259 weight class with a regional total of 930 lbs. Franklin squatted 365, benched 180, and dead-lifted 380.
Navarro – A total of five Panthers qualified for the Divison II state meet. Deandra Avalos advanced with a sixth-place regional total of 465 lbs in the 97 lb. weight class, squatting 175, benching 110, and dead-lifting 180.
Ashley Gosch finished second in the 148 lb. class with a total of 900 lbs, squatting 360, benching 190, and dead-lifting 350.
Kailtin Menchaca lifted a qualifying total of 840 lbs in the 165 class to finish third, squatting 325, benching 200, and dead-lifting 315.
Kayla Deleon finished fourth in the 181 class with a qualifying total of 855 (330 squat, 210 bench, 315 dead lift).
Alondra Hernandez took sixth in the 259 class with a qualifying total of 740 (300 squat, 195 bench, 245 dead lift).
Marion – Savanna Dickey and Jackie Fly competed for the Bulldogs in the Region V Division III meet. Dickey finished sixth in the 123 lb. class with a total of 675 lbs (260 squat, 140 bench, 275 dead lift). Fly took fifth place in the 198 lb. class with a total of 825 lbs (335 squat, 175 bench, 315 dead lift).
