Sharron L. Davis passed away on February 28, 2021 in Nixon, Texas at the age of 75. She was born on August 13, 1945 in Fairhope, Alabama to Ernest Edward Gates and Helen Louise McCarthy. Sharron married Manuel Terry Davis, Sr. on March 24, 1962 in Piedras Negras, Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Darren
Robert Davis; brothers, Gary Gates, and Dale Clark; and sister, Jeanette Kunze. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Terry Davis, Jr.; daughter, Darla Wallace (Dean, Jr.); grandchildren, Samantha Araujo, Kylie Hessler, Dean Wallace III, and Terryn Wallace; great-grandchildren, Myah Nieto, Olyvia Williams, and Hudson Hessler; brother, David Gates; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, 5:00pm-7:30pm.
FUNERAL SERVICE
Wednesday, March 3, 2021 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Nixon. Burial will follow at Leesville Cemetery. Pastors Terry Davis, Marvin Miles and Kenneth Durham will officiate the services.
