The fairways and greens at Starcke Park Golf Course will be absent of players until further notice due to COVID-19 safety precautions.
(Seguin) – Golf has been one of the few recreational respites available during the COVID-19 pandemic, but that won’t be the case in Seguin for the forseeable future.
Starcke Park Golf Course is closed until further notice to comply with local social distancing and “stay at home” safety protocols.
Thursday, April 9 was the course’s final open day. The closure announcement appears on the top banner of the course’s website, https://www.seguintexas.gov/landing_golf.php.
The Bandit Golf Club was the only course in Guadalupe County with plans to stay open as of Thursday, but it joined the list of closed courses by the end of the day via order from the county.
Golfers planning to drive elsewhere for a round should call or check course websites before making plans.
The list of closed courses in the region include Landa Park in New Braunfels, Olympia Hills in Universal City, and all San Antonio municipal courses.
