Rosa Guerra entered eternal rest on October 9, 2019 at her home in Nixon, Texas at the age of 76. She was born on September 13, 1943 in Banquete, Texas to Cristobal H. Arellano and Petra Valdez Arellano. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roberto Guerra, on October 22, 2004, and her sister, Luisa Arellano. She is survived by her children: Robert Guerra, Jr. (Lupe), Joe Guerra (Mary), Delia Guerra (Ross Alejandro), Sherrie Regalado (Raymundo), Terri Guerra (Johnny Sistos), Cynthia Guerra; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; her brother, Juan Arellano (Delia); numerous nieces and nephews as well as other loving family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel- Nixon. The funeral mass is set for 10 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon, TX. Interment will follow at Union Valley Cemetery.
