(Seguin) — Families looking for Halloween fun and fall activities around Seguin and Guadalupe County do not have to look any further. That’s because thanks to sponsors and local tradition, all those community events can again be found in one spot – and that’s in the annual KWED Halloween Happenings List.
The list included in the October issue of Seguin Today Magazine is also being shared and added to the online pages of the Seguin Daily News available at seguintoday.com.
Nick Spence, sales manager for KWED and the Seguin Daily News, says the guide serves as a convenient resource for families looking to make the most of the Halloween season.
“Halloween Happenings is basically our one-stop guide to family-friendly Halloween and October events happening around the Seguin area,” said Spence.
The annual community resource is made possible through the support of its business sponsors, who help provide the guide as a gift to the community. He says the list is continually changing as new events are announced.
The guide includes a variety of options, from free community celebrations to nonprofit fundraisers and for-profit events.
Spence says the goal is to make it easier for residents to navigate through this busy time of year.
“It just makes it easy for families to find out what’s going on without having to search all over the place,” said Spence.
Again, the updated Halloween Happenings page can be found at SeguinToday.com. Families can also find the guide through KWED’s Facebook page.
With new events added as information becomes available, residents are encouraged to check the online listing regularly and share it with friends and family.
Along with the Halloween event listing, this month’s magazine issue features a Halloween coloring page designed to give readers another way to join in the fun. Completed pages can be submitted to KWED for a chance to be entered into a drawing for one of four $25 Walmart gift cards.
The coloring page and contest details can be found in the October issue of Seguin Today Magazine.
