(Seguin) – Congratulations Seguin! You showed up for baby Isabella Grace Ramirez two weeks ago — helping her advance in the national magazine “Baby of the Year” contest.
Now, the local baby is counting on that same community support to keep her in the running for the ultimate grand prize. The six-month-old has officially moved on to the next round after finishing among the top five babies in her original group. She now faces 23 other babies, but the competition gets tougher — only the baby in first place will advance.
Upon learning the news , her mother, Adrianna Ramirez, wanted KWED and the Seguin Daily News to extend her family’s appreciation for the online votes and support. She says the family is now asking supporters to keep those votes coming. According to contest officials, voting is completely free, and supporters can vote once every day through Thursday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. The national competition is presented in partnership with actress Jessica Alba,
The Honest Company, Variety Magazine and the non-profit group Baby2Baby, which provides children in need with essentials such as diapers, clothing and other necessities. The winning baby will receive $25,000, a national advertising campaign with The Honest Company, and recognition in Variety magazine.
The Honest Company is a nationally recognized consumer products brand co-founded by Alba in 2012. The company specializes in baby care, diapers, wipes, and personal care products, with an emphasis on clean ingredients and transparency. Again, if you’d like to help Isabella advance in the contest, visit https://babyoftheyear.org/2026/isabella-da67 and find her profile and cast a free vote daily through Oct. 22 at 8 p.m.
