Guadalupe County crowns its new Fair Queen

Guadalupe County crowns its new Fair Queen

(Seguin) — The Guadalupe County Fair Association has officially crowned its 2026 Fair Queen and royal court. Taking home the top honor as Fair Queen this past weekend was Chloe Law, the daughter of Jay and Jill Law.  Although excited, Law, who represents Seguin High School, admits it took her a while to realize that her name had been called as this year’s winner.

“I thought I didn’t get it. They called Princess and Duchess. I was like, okay, better luck next year. And then they called my name and I was like, oh, wait, that’s me. I won!” said Law.

Joining her on the royal court are Princess Adriana Tovar of Lifegate Christian School and Duchess Sofia Langford of Navarro High School.

Law says she is mostly looking forward to getting to know her fellow court members and proudly serving as an ambassador for the Guadalupe County Fair and Seguin community.

“It’s about just getting to know the girls. The girls seem nice. I don’t know them, but I’m excited to get to know them and just going on all the parades and seeing the different things — get to see where the year takes us,” said Law.

The fair queen’s contest was held Saturday evening in the Seguin Coliseum. Law was sponsored by Bartoskewitz Farms. Emcees for the night were Seguin Mayor Donna Dodgen and local educator Diana Kucherka Weber.

The newly crowned queen and her court will now go on to represent the 143rd Annual Guadalupe County Fair and PRCA Rodeo at upcoming public appearances and throughout area parades.
