(Stockdale) — Students and staff continue to mourn the loss of Stockdale ISD Superintendent Todd Deaver.
According to district officials, Deaver passed away on Friday.
The sudden loss was publicly shared online Friday morning by district officials.
In a social media post, Acting Superintendent Roxanne Moczygemba, stated, “Mr. Deaver was an important part of our school community, and his presence, dedication, and contributions have touched the lives of many students, staff members, families, and community members. We recognize that this loss may be difficult for many within our community, and we extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Deaver’s family, loved ones, colleagues, and friends.”
Shock of his passing also stretched beyond district walls including in the Navarro ISD. The school district offered its condolences to the Stockdale ISD community. Through an online post, the district wrote, “Our hearts go out to the Deaver family, as well as the students, staff, and entire Brahma community. As neighboring districts, we mourn with you and will keep Stockdale ISD in our thoughts and prayers.”
Deaver had served the position as Stockdale ISD superintendent since August 2022.
