KINGSLAND, Texas — The Texas Lutheran women’s golf team wrapped the 2026 Texas Legends Cup at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland, Texas, on Tuesday.
As a team, Texas Lutheran finished tenth combining for a score of 677 (+101) over 36 holes.
Freshman Abigail Cavazos (Harlingen/New Braunfels) paced the Bulldogs on day two with a 75 (+3) in the final round Tuesday. Cavazos finished the tournament in 21st place (+13). Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport) signed for a final tally of 16-over to close the tournament in a tie for 28th place.
Tierce Zipp (Kerrville/Tom Moore) finished 57th with a score of 32-over while Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) finished 64th at 40-over. Mia Belz (Pleasanton/McMullen County) rounded out the Bulldogs lineup at 44-over par.
Texas Lutheran returns to action next week at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational hosted by Trinity University at Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio, October 12-13.
